I would describe myself as prepared and committed and encourage students to have the same attitude. I take my job seriously, but I like to have fun doing it! I try to make my lessons real and relevant, as well as explain why we do things, although sometimes English grammar does not always make structural sense! I'm pretty straightforward, and I don't like to complicate things too much. I am patient and always learn new and better ways to present my material to students. I believe that practice is the key to success, so my lessons will include conversing and discussing. I like to vary the way I teach to keep my students engaged and interested. This includes splitting my lessons into parts such as vocabulary, grammar and listening. Following on from this, speaking is essential to a language but I also teach and encourage reading, writing and listening.
